March is Fraud Prevention Month here in Alberta and across Canada.
The Edmonton Police hosted a public Fraud Prevention Month event held at Central Lions Seniors Recreation Centre in Edmonton.
There were over 60 seniors in attendance. Corporal Sean Milne, Alberta Provincial Financial Crime Team from RCMP says “Bringing awareness to this national issue is important to him and his team by educating the public”.

Corporal Sean Milne joined the RCMP in 2007, serving British Columbia and Alberta. He joined the Federal Serious and Organized Crime Unit in Edmonton in 2017 as a full time financial crime investigator and is currently in charge of the Provincial Economic Crime Team. He obtained his CFE designation in 2020
