Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton announced a new pilot program called “Big Summer”, a new mentoring program designed to give volunteer mentors an opportunity to try mentoring over the spring and summer.
The program starts from May to August. Mentors and mentees will come together one-to-one participating in a low| no cost activities.
Volunteer Recruitment Specialist with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton, Danielle Newman, says “Volunteering is a great way to connect to your community and make an impact, putting a caring adult in the life of a kid, opens doors for them.”
