A magnitude 4.4 earthquake was reported south of Grande Prairie at 12:50 p.m. Sunday.
The quake was recorded at a shallow depth of roughly 3.6 kilometres and was lightly felt in the region.
There are no reports of damage.
The event is considered possibly industry-related.
