Big Brothers Big Sisters is an organization helping the development of all children here in Alberta. There is a BIG fundraising initiative called Evening of Opportunity kicking off on November 19 bringing Edmonton together to celebrate the power of mentoring and youth programming.
Funds raised will support more than 4,500 children and youth in Edmonton and surrounding areas through vital programs like mentoring, out-of-school programs, educational supports and youth employment and youth engagement programs.
These programs empower young people to reach their full potential by giving them access to the tools they need to do better in school, make good decisions, form healthy relationships and become active members of their communities.
