The St. Albert RCMP, with the help of the St. Albert General Investigation Section and St. Albert Municipal Enforcement Services, have found the dog and its owner that were involved in a recent dog bite incident.
According to St. Albert Mounties, on August 14 at around 7:45 p.m., a 61 year old woman was walking her dog when a large black dog bit her. The woman was taken to the hospital and required surgery. Her dog, a Golden Retriever, was also hurt and was taken to a veterinary clinic for treatment.
The dog that injured the woman and her dog is legally registered/licensed through the City of St. Albert and has been placed on a 10 day quarantine, which is a mandatory requirement through Alberta Health Services.
