RCMP in Northern Alberta are investigating a man’s death they believe is a homicide in Driftpile Cree Nation.
On August 15th, Mounties in Faust were called to a weapons complaint along Eva Road in the Nation.
RCMP, along with members of the Lakeshore Regional Police Service, arrived on scene and found 29 year-old Bandon Lee Campiou of Driftpile dead.
32 year old Blake Francis Giroux of Edmonton is facing one charge of manslaughter in relation to the homicide.
Giroux was remanded into custody and is set to appear in court on August 25.
