The GPFA wildfire rating is back down to moderate.
Rainfall has helped lower the overall wildfire risk, but Alberta Wildfire is still cautioning that wildfires can start in dry areas, especially during windy conditions.
A fire advisory is in effect for the area, any burning without a valid permit is prohibited.
Out of the six fires burning in the Grande Prairie Forest Area, four are listed as being held and two are under control.
