All Northern Alberta Forest Protection areas are under a fire ban until further notice.
Last week, Alberta Wildfire put a ban out for all north and central forest protection areas, due to the ongoing blazes and increased fire conditions.
At this time, propane fire pits and barbecues are still allowed, but all wood fires are prohibited, including on private land.
There are 56 wildfires currently burning in Alberta, with 28 deemed out of control.
