Measles cases in Alberta continue to rise, with the diagnoses climbing to 606 cases across the province.
Sothern Alberta accounts for the majority, numbers are at 43 in the North Zone.
Alberta Health Services has issued more exposure alerts in Peace River and Grimshaw. One is for the Peace River Community Health Centre Emergency Department in the overnight hours of Thursday and Friday last week. The Grimshaw/Berwyn and District Community Health Centre Emergency Department has one from the evening of May 21.
AHS Public Health is launching a campaign to target parents of babies between 6 months to one year olds, letting them know that their child is eligible for a measles-containing vaccine.
