A Rocky Mountain House man faces charges after allegedly smashing several windows in both the city’s downtown and south areas and other property damage on the weekend.
On the night of Saturday, May 3, 2025, and into the early morning hours of Sunday, May 4, 2025, Red Deer RCMP received multiple reports of property damage, including numerous windows being smashed in both the downtown and south areas of the city.
A lone suspect was arrested in connection to these incidents.
The suspect, identified as 26 year old Creed Goodrunning of Rocky Mountain House, has been charged with five counts of mischief over $5,000, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and possession of break-in instruments.
Goodrunning was taken before a Justice of the Peace and was remanded into custody. He is scheduled to appear in court today at the Alberta Court of Justice in Red Deer.
RCMP anticipate that further charges may be laid as additional reports are received and reviewed.
