Red River Gold is a new APTN series directed by Saxon de Cocq, Berkley Brady and Sam Karney. It follows Métis treasure seekers as they hunt for $2 million in lost British gold coins that are said to have vanished in 1870 during the Red River Resistance. Led by Métis musician and Calgary-based tech entrepreneur Ross “Memphis” Pambrun, the team uses historical records, radar, and metal detectors to comb the old Dawson Trail in Manitoba.
Sean Burke spoke with Ross “Memphis” Pambrun to find out more.
