The City of Grande Prairie has launched a new tool called AccessNow at the Eastlink Centre and Design Works Centre to enhance visitor experience.
AccessNow is an online dashboard created to communicate amenity status for within a 20-minute accuracy window as either available, partially available or unavailable due to planned or unexpected maintenance, contaminations and more.
If an amenity is operational, it displays green; if the amenity is partially operational, it displays yellow; and if the amenity is not operational, it displays red.
Members and visitors are encouraged to use AccessNow alongside the existing amenity schedule, which can be found at cityofgp.com/schedules, to confirm amenity availability during designated activity times and better plan their visits.
“AccessNow reflects our commitment to building a more connected, accessible and wellness-focused community,” said City of Grande Prairie Mayor, Jackie Clayton. “By offering timely, accurate updates on facility closures and interruptions, we’re empowering visitors to plan ahead, stay active and get the most out our recreational facilities.”
