“Bull/sell scams,” often used in the context of online buy and sell platforms, involve deceptive tactics used to trick individuals into handing over money or personal information. These scams can take various forms, including e-transfer scams, door-to-door scams, and high-pressure sales tactics.
“Parking lot gold scams” involve scammers offering seemingly valuable gold jewelry in exchange for money or other items, often under a guise of distress or urgency. The gold is typically fake, and the scammer disappears after the victim hands over their cash or goods.
