Crews are responding to an out-of-control wildfire burning approximately 6 km north of the community of North Meadows. There are no immediate risks to people or the community, but smoke may be visible. The wildfire is in an area where a hazard reduction burn was planned. Crews will contain this wildfire and manage it as part of the planned burn.
The fire is estimated at 100 hectares.
