
Two RCMP officers have been charged with dangerous driving while on duty.
On March 5, 2020, the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) was directed to investigate a possible dangerous driving offence while on duty by Parkland County RCMP officers on February 25, 2020.
The evidence gathered during ASIRT’s investigation provided reasonable grounds to believe that an offence had been committed a release said.
On April 7, 2025, Const. Debra-Ann Wash and Const. Dorian Tooze were charged with operating a conveyance in a manner that was dangerous to the public.
They were released on an appearance notice and are scheduled for first appearance on May 21 in the Stony Plain Court of Justice.
