On Tuesday morning, Bonnyville RCMP responded to a serious motor vehicle collision on Township Road 640.
The collision, between a pickup truck and a semi truck, resulted in the death of a 25-year-old Edmonton resident.
Preliminary findings suggest that icy roads and freezing rain were the main contributors to the collision.
Township Road 640 has since been reopened for travel.
