A 35-year-old Grande Prairie resident has been charged with aggravated assault, after two children, aged seven and eight, were stabbed last week.
Emergency crews were called about the stabbing on Febraury 19th in Grande Prairie.
One child had suffered a serious non-life threatening knife wound and had been taken to the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, and was then taken to the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton.
The second child was assessed for a minor knife wound.
The suspect has been released on conditions, and has a court date March 13 in Grande Prairie.
