Saddle Lake Cree Nation Gears Up for 20th Annual Round Dance Celebration

The 20th Annual Saddle Lake Cree Nation Round Dance is set to take place inside the Ayiwakes Hall on February 14 to honour graduates in Saddle Lake.

Betty-Ann Cardinal, Post-Secondary Student Advisor for Saddle Lake Education Authority spoke with CFWE saying Valentine’s Day the love will be spread to all graduates that completed their programs, with a few grads getting their doctorates and diplomas at the ceremony.

With working in her position since 2010, Cardinal speaks on seeing the students she has worked with over the years walk across the stage to accept their diploma’s and doctorates in Saddle Lake.

For hopefuls that are looking into post-secondary options, Cardinal invites many to sit down with her to be a future student to accept their diploma on graduation day in Saddle Lake Cree Nation.
