Albertans are being warned of a new scam with online shopping.
RCMP said on Tuesday that fraudulent websites and social media pages were pretending to be Peavey Mart and selling items online.
The farm and ranch retail store announced in January that they would be closing all Canadian stores.
According to RCMP, Peavey Mart does not have an online store.
Albertans are being warned to be cautious when making online purchases, and to always verify website addresses before providing personal and banking information.
