School divisions in the Edmonton and area have cancelled bus services for Monday due to the cold weather.
The Parkland School Division, public schools in the Spruce Grove, Stony Plain and Evansburg, will not be offering buses because of the extreme cold temperatures.
Elk Island Public Schools also cancelled morning bus services for those in the Andrew, Mundare, Camrose and Vegreville areas.
Greater St. Albert Catholic School morning buses were cancelled including rural areas.
-40 with the wind chill was expected Monday morning.
Schools will be open for classes.
