The Candora Society teamed up with 13 community organizations, local artists, and authors to celebrate Growing Roots: Nurturing Family Literacy to Northeast Edmonton hosted inside Tegler Youth Centre.
Rebecca Steinhubl, Director of Business Development at Candora Society spoke with CFWE on the event as youth and their families have a variety of activities such as arts and crafts, and taking books home.

Free book giveaways donated by the Rotary Club of Edmonton Northeast, Leston Holdings and Scholastic Canada helping families and youth to get a chance to take home their favorite book.
