New Year’s Eve celebrations across Northern & Central Alberta

If you haven’t yet locked down your plans for new years eve, there are several celebrations planned for December 31st in Alberta.

Edmonton is hosting two events, one at Sir Winston Churchill Square, and the other at Ice District. Join Mayor Amarjeet Sohi in the countdown to the fireworks at midnight in downtown Yeg.

In Fort McMurray, check out The Craze at MacDonald Island Park From Noon – 5:00 p.m. families can enjoy free events and activities for all ages at the Suncor Community Leisure Centre and Shell Place.The day will end with the Annual New Year’s Eve Grand Finale Fireworks display at 5:30 p.m.

Don’t miss the New Years eve festivities at the Alberta Sports hall of fame in Red Deer. From 5:30 PM to 8:30pm, this will be an evening packed with exciting activities for all ages.

Ring in 2025 with family and friends in St Albert under a dazzling fireworks display! Festivities start at 8:30pm

Stony Plain’s Family Fest is the place to be on New Year’s Eve. Celebration take place at Heritage Park (5100 – 41 Avenue) from 6 PM to 9 PM.
