On December 20th, the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton is gearing up to distribute over 1,800 Hampers and over 10 thousand gift cards to Edmontonians in time for the holidays at the St. Francis of Assi Elementary School Gymnasium.
Adam Zawadiuk, executive director of the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton spoke with CFWE, it’s his favorite time of year along with the distribution day of delivering Holiday Hampers and gift cards, with the help from community members within the city such as the Edmonton Oilers Alumni.

With Canada Post strike ending and the shipment of mail resuming, Zawadiuk adds that the physical gift cards will be delivered past Christmas, however the digital gift cards will be sent to recipients on December 20.
