Fort McMurray is getting a new Walmart Supercentre in Parsons Creek.
The new store will be 45,000 square feet longer than the already existing Walmart downtown.
Walmart Supercentre will open near North Parsons Gateway and Parsons Access Road.
Official dates for groundbreaking and grand opening ceremonies have not been released.
This new store is part of a $300 million plan by Walmart, to build three Supercentres and upgrade other existing stores in Alberta within two years.
