The body of a man was discovered after a Wetaskiwin house fire over the weekend. Crews were called to a house at 53 Ave and 45 Street in the city shortly after 5:00am on Sunday.
The body was found by fire investigators who then turned the case over to the RCMP. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
RCMP believe the fire was deliberately set, adding a person was seen running from the house with portions of their clothes on fire.
