RAISE Athletics Hosts Soft Opening of 22 Pickleball Courts in St. Albert

A new multi purpose sporting facility has opened in St. Albert. The RAISE Athletics facility spans out at 170,000 square feet with 22 pickleball courts opened in the first phase.

Safina Nanji, director of operations and marketing communications with RAISE Athletics spoke with CFWE saying it feels good to have the soft opening as the facility is a passion project for her family.

Nanji speaks on the phases of the multi purpose facility, that will include basketball courts, soccer fields, tennis courts and more. With construction set to be completed in May 2025.

Nanji adds that with excitement building for the new Recreation Centre, there is the awareness of needed space for athletes to access space for play and training as a hub to participate in multiple sports.
