Edmonton’s sweetest holiday tradition is back! The 2024 Christmas Bureau Gingerbread Competition took place inside the Edmonton Convention Centre, bringing together bakers and decorators from across the city.
The annual event raises funds for families in need during the holiday season, with gingerbread creations that capture the magic of Christmas.
Adam Zawaduik, executive director of the Christmas Bureau spoke with CFWE, saying it’s truly the kickoff to the holiday season with a fun filled Christmas atmosphere.

Zawaduik speaks on the 18 teams that competed, that varied from media partners, sponsors, and different organizations that work with the Christmas Bureau throughout the years.

With this being their 84th year for the Christmas Bureau, their goal is set to help over 55,000 individuals and families for the holiday season.
