Skydancer Indigenous Cultural Centre is set to host their first ever International Inuit Day at the Family Connection Centre in Stoney Plain on November 7th.
Jannessa Wood, Programs Coordinator with Skydancer Indigenous Cultural Centre spoke with CFWE on her excitement about their upcoming event.
Wood speaks on what attendees can expect at the International Inuit Day event from guest speakers, food and drumming performances.
Wood adds that she wants people to see the diversity within Indigenous Culture, with the Inuit language, music and drums all demonstrated at the event to help build a bridge of understanding between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people.
