The Confederacy of Treaty Six First Nation’s Held the ‘Guiding Their Spirits Home’ gathering inside the River Cree Resort and Casino from October 21-22 to create a safe space for conversation and healing for Residential School Survivors.
Kerri Randolph, Senior Policy Analyst for Indian Residential School Department for Confederacy of Treaty Six First Nations says the feeling is overwhelming as 400 attendees gathered to heal and to find a safe space to share their experiences through Residential School.
