Grande Prairie Prepares Drop & Swap at Muskoseepi Park for Waste Reduction Week

Residents within the City of Grande Prairie are encouraged to gather and to drop off clean previous loved clothing at the Ernie Raybourne Pavilion in Muskoseepi Park from October 16-18th.

Kierstyn Otterman, environmental program facilitator with the City of Grande Prairie spoke with CFWE on what residents can expect at the Drop & Swap event.

Otterman speaks on her excitement on the upcoming event as it’s an opportunity for residents in Grande Prairie to refresh their wardrobe.

Otterman adds that she enjoys seeing the community coming together in support of one another and to see children pick out their favorite clothes for the first time.

Otterman says that all clothing donations from newborn sized, toddler and adult to contribute to the Drop and Swap event.
