Lloydminster RCMP sent a note out to the public warning them of a cougar spotting early Wednesday morning. In a news release issued by RCMP, the animal was spotted around midnight near 33 Street and 45 Avenue.
The Saskatchewan Conservation Officer Service says the public shouldn’t approach or feed the cougar, keep pets indoors and under supervision, bring all food indoors and ensure garbage is in a safe spot while locking fences and doors.
If anyone spots the cougar they’re asked to contact 780-808-8400 so RCMP can track it’s movement.
