From delicious apple cider, wagon rides and the famous Heli Drop, the United Way’s Second Annual Harvest Fall Fair returns to Country Roads RV Park for October 12 and 13.
Ken Loudon, executive director of United Way in Grande Prairie says he’s super stoked about the festival and it’s a great way for families to enjoy the Thanksgiving weekend.
Loudon adds that if it’s the first time for community members to attend the fair, attendees will be overwhelmed with many outdoor activities with seeing the massive pumpkin patches and the introduction of the Heli Drop.
Loudon goes on to explain what the Heli Drop entails, with the grand prize being $15,000 dollars and ball furthest away from the large pumpkin will walk away with $5,000.
