Blackfalds FCSS is excited to once again host their annual Community Warmth Fundraiser at the Blackfalds Community Centre in support of the Clothes for Kids Program to ensure many kids are warm for the winter season on October 3.
Jan Pocock, community engagement programmer with Blackfalds FCSS speaks on her excitement on their upcoming fundraiser with all donated proceeds going towards the Clothes for Kids program to keep kids warm with the best winter gear.
Pocock highlights her favorite moment from last years Community Warmth Fundraiser as she was delighted to see a young boy feel excited to pick out his favorite winter coat from the rack to wear for the winter season.
Pocock adds that the best way to contribute towards the Community Warmth Fundraiser is by funds donated by the community allows the Blackfalds FCSS to purchase winter gear at Mountain Wearhouse to ensure children and youth are kept bundled up throughout the winter.
