RCMP say there was an increased police presence in the Emerald Hills neighbourhood in Sherwood Park Friday morning, as officers are searching for a man wanted by police.
In a release at 10:25 a.m., RCMP said “Police have searched the area thoroughly and we do not believe the suspect is in the immediate vicinity, although the suspect was not located, we do not believe there is a risk to the community at this time.”
RCMP have not said what the man is wanted for.
No other details have been provided.
