Willow Lake Metis Nation is inviting everyone to attend their Annual Metis Festival that is set to take place at the Anzac Recreation Centre for September 7th.
Stella Lavallee, president of Willow Lake Metis Nation says the historic event brings recognition of the ties and bonds with the land and for community members to take part in the Metis song and heritage within Anzac.
Lavallee speaks on Rockin’ Fiddle that will be the featured entertainment, along with a talent show and jigging and fiddling, and moose calling and more for families and attendees to enjoy.
Lavallee adds that having the Metis Festival within Anzac is an opportunity to have a great time to take part in song and heritage and to shares it with locals and those from afar.
Lavallee is hopeful that attendees will take away the experiences they have from taking part in the Metis Culture and heritage, while enjoying the entertainment and activities available for everyone.
