Edmonton Oilers superstar Leon Draisaitl will be wearing blue and orange for close to another decade.
The star centre has penned an 8 year contract with the Edmonton Oilers with an annual value of $14 million USD.
Executive Vice President of hockey operations and general manager Stan Bowman said “This is a historic day for the Edmonton Oilers.”
Draisaitl now carries the heaviest cap hit in NHL history.
