On September 30th National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Indigenous Runner is set to host the 4th Annual Orange Shirt Day Run/Walk at Kinsman Park in the spirit of community, healing and health.
Anita Cardinal, race director of the Orange Shirt Day Run and Walk speaks on her excitement for the event and their first annual to be held in Saskatoon and the second annual to return in Peace River.
Cardinal adds that it’s a great opportunity for community to come together in Truth and Runconciliaction on learning from one another in the healing of movement.
Cardinal says that the Orange Shirt Day Run/Walk is for all ages as there is a 2.15 km for Kids and Elders, a 5 K and a 10K Run and Walk.
Cardinal speaks on the hand carved medals, Orange Shirt and swag that will be given to registered participants in the Orange Shirt Day Run/Walk.
