The rumble of motorcycles filled the air at Blackjacks Roadhouse in Nisku for the Annual Ride to Reconciliation, where hundreds of riders gathered in a display of solidarity and support for Indigenous communities and a local charity, Creating Hope Society.
Bernadette Iahtail, executive director of Creating Hope Society says she’s amazed and honored to be a part of the event, with all proceeds going towards Creating Hope Society, and riders connecting with one another on the path towards Reconciliation.

Iahtail says the event is about togetherness, and seeing people coming into the space and recognizing that Indigenous people matter on the path towards Reconciliation.
