The Edmonton Police Service has responded to allegations of a man being drugged suring a marathon that took place last weekend in the cities river valley.
The mans response to being charged has gone viral online and the Edmonton Police Service is now looking into the case further.
The reddit user makes claim that on Sunday, a few hundred meters into the race he was offered water, as all runners do at various stations through out the races course. But the mans claim is that the water was not sanctioned by the marathon and he ingested methamphetamines, causing him to act out of character, leading up to his arrest.
