
Sylvan Lake’s Lighthouse Park will close to the public on September 3 for maintenance.
According to Town officials, the work is expected to last three weeks, depending on weather conditions.
Work to be done includes removal and replacement of the concrete apron around the lighthouse, Construction of a retaining wall, and maintenance of the lookout and sitting area.
Modelled after the famous Peggy’s Cove structure, it is viewed daily by residents and visitors to this central Alberta recreational lakeshore town.
