Some neighbourhoods in Red Deer were left without power on Monday night after a copper wire theft.
The outages occured in the north and east neighbourhoods in Red Deer at around 9 p.m.
Power was restored by 11 p.m. on Monday night for several neighbourhoods, although locations in Taylor Drive and 60 Street were still experiencing outages until 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Another power outage was impacting the north side on Tuesday morning.
Crews have not yet determined a cause and did not have an approximate time for restored power.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the copper wire theft or the power outages to contact the non-emergency line at 403-406-2200.
