Parts of the Icefields Parkway and Columbia Icefield will be reopening on Friday.
Parks Canada said on Thursday that Icefields Parkway, or Highway 93, will be open to the public between the Saskatchewan Crossing and Athabasca Glacier area of the Columbia Icefield.
As a result, Columbia Icefield will reopen on the southern edge of the Icefields Parkway.
HI Rampart Creek Wilderness Hostel and The Crossing Resort will also be reopening.
The Town of Jasper remains closed.
