On July 28, the third Annual Edmonton Elks Indigenous Celebration Game took place at Commonwealth Stadium as they faced the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, with the full coverage of the game conducted in the Cree Language on CFWE Radio.
Cree Broadcaster Wayne Jackson talks about his excitement on returning to the booth for his third year with covering the Edmonton Elks, and honoring Treaty Six and Treaty Eight with throwing in two different Cree dialects throughout the live broadcast.
