The Edmonton Elks have parted ways with General Manager and Head Coach, Chris Jones, the team announced Monday.
Jones was hired in 2021 and guided the team to a combined 8-33 over the course of 2 seasons. It was his second time with the Club, after serving as head coach from 2014-15, including a Grey Cup championship in 2015.
Geroy Simon will take over as interim General Manager, and Offensive Coordinator and Quaterbacks Coach Jarious Jackson becomes the teams interim head coach. Jarious will keep his offensive play calling duties.
