Creating Hope Society Prepares for National Indigenous Peoples Day

Creating Hope Society will be hosting their National Indigenous Peoples Day event on June 19th at the YMCA in Castledowns.

Camillia Sokwaypnace, cultural support worker for Creating Hope Society speaks on her excitement for this years event to recognize the diverse cultures of Indigenous Peoples.

Sokwaypnace highlights what people can expect at the National Indigenous People Day event, such as performers, vendors and cultural activities.

Sokwaypnace is hopeful that many can learn from the diverse Indigenous cultures such as the watching the Inuit dancers and other Indigenous cultures on display in celebration of National Indigenous People’s Day.
