Three youth and one adult were hospitalized after a collision took place in north Edmonton yesterday afternoon.
On Tuesday, at approximately 1:30 p.m, a Jaguar XF was travelling north on 82 Street near 149A Avenue in the Evansdale neighborhood when it proceeded through a red light and struck an eastbound Ford pickup.
The truck was attempting to make a left hand turn onto 149A Avenue when the accident took place.
The three people in the Jaguar were taken to hospital along with the driver of the truck for precautionary reasons according to an EPS representative.
All people involved are in stable condition.
The driver of the Jaguar now faces one or more pending charges related to the Traffic Safety Act.
On Tuesday, the Edmonton Police service issued a statement to the public following a string of serious accidents across the city. Four people have died in crashed in six days in the capital.
