The Creating Hope Society held their third annual Stand Up Walk to End Sexual Violence that took place in the Violet King Henry Plaza, where many gathered with signs in hand in solidarity to spread the message to end sexual violence towards women.
Felica Ricard, program manager at Creating Hope Society speaks on the walk that was created back in 2021 to bring awareness to survivors that they aren’t alone.

Ricard adds that there are survivors that won’t say that are survivors from sexual violence, and with the walk she is hopeful that it’s a way to show them they aren’t alone, and to guide those affected to programs in a path towards healing with people who care.

Bernadette Iahtail, Executive Director with Creating Hope Society says it’s amazing that the walk can help bring the issue of Sexual Violence to discussion, with keeping women safe and provide any assistance they may need.
