A presentation is being planned by Leduc RCMP for Sexual Violence Awareness Month.
Mounties in Leduc County are partnering with The Association of Communities Against Abuse along with the Camrose Women’s Shelter Society to present a discussion on sexual and intimate partner violence.
Community members are encouraged to attend the free event which is aimed at preparing a blueprint for prevention and response strategies related to sexual violence and also to debunk myths and challenging social norms, according to RCMP.
The event will be held at the Leduc Public library on May 27, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
