In a statement, Mounties say that at around 3 a.m. on Thursday May 16, they got a call about a male who had suffered a gunshot wound.
He died on his way to the hospital.
The victims name has not been released. An autopsy will be completed at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Edmonton.
