RCMP say Alexander First Nation death a homicide

RCMP are now investigating the death of a woman on the Alexander First Nation earlier this month.

Crews were called to a home on the First Nation on May 5th shortly after 2:30pm after receiving reports of a woman in medical distress. She was taken to hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Following an autopsy found her death was a homicide but the cause of death hasn’t been released.
